Pies Galore

Today was a pie baking lesson day for my daughter.  Nancy, a country cook friend of mine, showed her the fine art of making finer crust than mine.  I’m still not quite sure how she did everything better, but her pies are a work of art.  The shortening was blended more finely into the flour.  Hope my daughter learned from the master.
